Jim becomes a Director
Our newly promoted Director
SCP has promoted Jim Budd to the role of director. Having joined the company in 1999, he has worked hard, being promoted through the ranks to an Associate Director in 2000 and Technical Director in 2005, prior to his new role.
Jim headed up the technical department focusing on guiding private sector developers through all aspects of the highways development control process. In his new role, Jim will focus specifically on business development.
SCP, founded in 1991, has experience in all types of development and provides advice in areas of highway design, traffic engineering and transport planning throughout the UK.
Clients of SCP includes Lidl, BAe Systems, Tesco and Cine UK, Asda, Lancashire County Council, Barratt Homes, Russell Homes and Gladedale.
David Roberts, director of SCP, said: "Jim is an ambitious individual and since joining SCP has played a major role within the technical department focusing on site evaluation and planning. I am confident that as a director he will have a significant impact. Jim has a wealth of knowledge and we are delighted that he has accepted this new position."
