SCP have had detailed involvement with a range of leisure developments, ranging from new and refurbished hotels, to holiday lodges and football clubs. Our services have included preparing Transport Assessments and Travel Plans for a variety of developers as well as football clubs from non-league to Premiership, providing advice on a range of transport solutions for hotels, caravan parks, stadia and football training facilities.

  • FC United, Manchester

    FC United’s planning application is currently with Manchester City Council for determination and we have advised on aspects of off-site supporter car parking, encouragement of alternative modes of travel to the private car, site access design and internal layout.

  • Stoke City FC

    SCP has worked with Stoke City FC providing full highways assistance for their new state-of-the-art training ground on the edge of Stoke.

    SCP were retained to produce a Travel Plan for the Britannia Stadium, addressing the travel needs of supporters on matchdays, including the expansion of chartered bus services. SCP will also deliver the Travel Plan through the provision of coordinator services.

  • Hotel Indigo, City Buildings, Manchester

    SCP advised Sanguine Hospitality on an 15 storey hotel which will form part of the Co-operative's regeneration plans in Manchester. The development's constraints are also strong sustainable benefits, these being Victoria station and an extending tram network. SCP prepared a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan as well as an ES transport chapter, while also advising on construction management and future servicing arrangements.

  • Hoole Hall Hotel

    A new £8 million health club and spa has been created at Hoole Hall, Chester. The extension is part of a £27.5 million project to transform the former Hoole Hall Manor into a stunning Doubletree by Hilton hotel, creating a truly sumptuous destination. SCP advised on highway and access issues, including preparing a Travel Plan for the hotel.
