  • Bill Booker - Director

    BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering

    Bill joined SCP in 1991 after working for Greater Manchester County Council, and private sector consultancies. Bill became a Director in 1999 and has over 25 years of wide-ranging experience in highway, traffic and transport matters including considerable experience in preparing and giving expert evidence at inquiries etc. Outside of work, Bill has a keen interest in sport and regularly attends Premiership football matches.

  • David Roberts - Director

    I.Eng FCIHT, FIHE

    David has been with SCP since 1991 and became a Director in 1999. He benefits from over 25 years of experience in dealing with highway, traffic and transport matters, including considerable experience in providing expert evidence at all types of planning appeals. David can operate from the offices in Manchester and London but also has a base in Yorkshire. Now that his football and cricket playing days are coming to an end he has taken up the more leisurely game of golf.

  • Jim Budd - Director

    MSc Transport Planning & Engineering, MCIHT MCILT

    Jim joined SCP in 1999 after working for private sector consultancies and became a Director in 2010. Jim has experience of project managing a variety of strategic highway feasibility studies, developments for commercial and food retailing, house building and football stadia. He has also expanded SCP’s expertise in micro-simulation modelling. As part of SCP’s expansion Jim now divides his time between the Manchester and London offices.

  • Gordon Meikle - Associate Director

    MCIHT

    Gordon moved to SCP in 1997 having worked for Wirral MBC and was made an Associate Director in 2000. He set up a dedicated design section to provide an expanded range of services, including Section 38 and 278 design work. Gordon still lives on the Wirral, enjoying its great location for walking and cycling, as well as being a keen gardener, growing his own fruit and veg.

  • Ian Wickett - Associate Director

    MCIHT

    Ian joined SCP in 2006 after working for private sector consultants and was subsequently promoted to Associate Director in 2007. Ian has wide ranging experience of commercial, retail, leisure and residential projects across the country. Ian has a diverse range of highway and transportation technical skills including GIS, traffic micro-simulation modelling and travel plan expertise. Ian is a keen cyclist and enjoys travelling.
