SCP is pleased to announce that Simon Pratt will be joining SCP to lead the Leeds Transportation team this October.
At the same time that Simon is joining us, David Young will be leaving SCP to retire on 30th September. David has been a Director at SCP for almost six and a half years and has worked in the public and private sectors for 43 years.
David Roberts MD of SCP said, “colleagues and I, thank David for his contributions to growing the skills and public sector client base and wish him a very long and happy retirement.”
David has led teams delivering Bus Partnerships in South Yorkshire, overseen delivery of new interchanges and stations, he been directly involved in the specification and award of the East Midlands Rail Franchise, recently he has led work to deliver several Enhanced Partnerships to improve buses, including Derbyshire.
David has also been involved in key projects in York, large off-shore wind farms, residential and employment developments etc. He has also led strategy work such as the Lincolnshire Rail Strategy and Durham Wayfinding Strategy.
Simon has worked in the Yorkshire and Northeast region for almost 30 years as a Transport Planner advising major developers. His experience includes the education, employment and residential sectors. His experience covers development planning, transport planning, traffic management, road safety and traffic engineering. He has worked on a variety of development projects from master planning of sites, to managing the planning process, and involvement in public inquiries and construction.
